The Global Gender Gap Report, issued by the World Economic Forum, “measures the size of the gender gap in four critical areas of inequality between men and women”: economic participation and opportunity, educational attainment, political empowerment, and health and survival. The highest ranked country on the list is Sweden, the lowest ranked is Yemen. Jamaica is the highest ranked Caribbean country (of three included in the ranking), at number 24 out of 115.
