The Caribbean Regional Office of the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) offers funding, through its regional small grants facility and through a special trust fund, to support projects to help eliminate violence against women. UNIFEM has funded projects in Barbados, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago. Proposals may be submitted by registered non-governmental organisations, community-based organisations or inter-governmental organisations.
