Photographer Peter Menzel and writer Faith D’Aluisio are the authors of Hungry Planet: What the World Eats, a book in which they document the food consumption habits of 30 families from around the world. Menzel was also a contributor to Material World: A Global Family Portrait, which took a similar look at the material possessions of families around the world.
