It’s always a bit harder being away from home at this time of year, because there is invariably a hurricane threat that causes worry about the wellbeing of loved ones at home. I don’t quite breathe easy until I’ve gotten firm word that my friends and family, both in Barbados and Jamaica, are doing okay. I’ve heard from Bim, and all is well there; hopefully I will get reassurance from JA also before the end of the day. My thoughts and prayers go out to the folk in Mexico and Belize, as they face the force of Hurricane Dean.
