Want to improve your vocabulary and be philanthropic at the same time? Check out FreeRice. It’s an online vocab quiz, and for every word you get right, 20 grains of rice are donated (via the UN World Food Programme) to someone in need. FreeRice was launched in early October 2007, and less than two months later more than six billion grains of rice have been donated.
