On the advice of medical professionals and health officials, the Jamaica government is considering legalising abortion, with the main justification being that legalisation would reduce the rate of death and injury from botched illegal procedures.

BBC Caribbean asks readers "are you for or against abortion?" * The range of responses is more or less what you would expect.
