I posted a couple of weeks back a video about efforts to conserve mountain chickens (which are frogs, and not poultry) in Montserrat. In the video it was mentioned that Montserrat population of the Caribbean frog was the last remaining one unaffected by a fungal disease that was decimating amphibian populations worldwide. Now the BBC reports that the chytrid fungus has spread to Montserrat and is wiping out the mountain chicken stock there.

thanks for the info. pretty sad. never even heard of the ones in Dominica being wiped out.
